Heights Emergency Food Center (HEFC) serves only the residents of Cleveland Heights, University Heights, South Euclid, and Lyndhurst. Residents who meet USDA income limits are eligible to receive food once per calendar month. Current USDA income limits are available when you visit the pantry or online at fdacs.gov.

 
 
  • Mondays (4-6 p.m.)
    Tuesdays (9-11:30 a.m.)
    Thursdays (9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.)
    Fridays (9-11:30 a.m.)
    Also open the fourth Thursday of each month from 4:30-6 p.m. (EXCEPTION: We will be open from 4:30-6 p.m. the third Thurdays in November and December, due to holidays)

  • Heights Emergency Food Center will be closed on the following holidays in 2024:

    Eclipse!! (Monday, April 8)

    Memorial Day (Monday, May 27)

    Independence Day (Thursday, July 4)

    Labor Day (Monday, September 2)

    Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 28)

  • New clients must provide the following information at their first visit:
    -Name, address and phone number
    -Photo ID for the head of household
    -Birthdate for each household member
    -Proof of address for the head of household, such as a current bill or similar official correspondence (a driver’s license does not meet this requirement)
