HEFC is located at the corner of Mayfield and Yellowstone Roads, inside Disciples Christian Church. We are across Mayfield Road from Severance Center, and across Yellowstone Road from Lutheran East High School. Our facility is wheelchair-accessible.

    Also open the fourth Thursday of each month from 4:30-6 pm to coincide with a separate community dinner conducted by Disciples Christian Church.

  • Heights Emergency Food Center will be closed on the following holidays in 2024:

    Memorial Day (Monday, May 27)

    Independence Day (Thursday, July 4)

    Labor Day (Monday, September 2)

    Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 28)

    Christmas Day (Wednesday, December 25)

    Note that the pantry will be open the 3rd Thursdays in November (due to Thanksgiving) and December (due to Christmas).

  • New clients must provide the following information at their first visit:
    -Name, address and phone number
    -Photo ID for the head of household
    -Name and birthdate for each household member
    -Proof of address for the head of household, such as a current bill or similar official correspondence (a driver’s license does not meet this requirement)

    A photo ID for the head of household is required for all future visits. In addition, proof of residence (a current bill or similar official correspondence) is required annually, to verify that clients still reside in our service area of Cleveland Hts., University Hts., South Euclid, and Lyndhurst.
